Simple Herbal Remedies

This past Monday, I had a special guest, Mrs. Nicole Shepherd, who was on to talk about simple herbal remedies that you can do in your own home. It was very informative, and if you haven't watched it yet, make sure you do that here.

I wanted to list the simple remedies that she talked about on my blog, so that they would be in one easy place to find. So, in no certain order, here they are!

Basic Healing Salve

1 Part Calendula

1/2 Part Yarrow

1/2 Part St. John's Wort in Olive Oil

Add some Vitamin E if wanted

Infuse the herbs in oil, let cool and use on basically anything to replace antibiotic cream

(Nicole said she actually infuses the oils and herbs in a glass jar placed in water, on the "Yogurt" setting in her instant pot overnight. Once again, Instant Pot for the win!)
